Healing Properties: The burning bush is antiseptic, tonic and antispasmodic. Used for healing wounds, as a soothing digestive system, as well as influenza and colds. It is anticonvulsant and contributes to the prevention and treatment of circulatory and heart problems, relieves headaches, and stomach upsets, ponodontous and abscesses. It also acts as an antidiabetic, emmenagogue and as an aphrodisiac (that is why Dictamo is also called « Erondas » or tea love in Crete). Usage: used as a medicament in the form of beverage usually replacing the tea with a ratio of 1 g dictamo with 100 g of water.
